The Mentors for Masters Students (M&MS)
The Mentors for Masters Students (M&MS) is a student organization within the Division of Social Work to assist first-year graduate students transition into the program. M&MS was created in 2008, after students and faculty realized that incoming students had many unanswered questions about the program and Morgantown at large.
M&MS matches first-year students with peer mentors who can answer questions, provide tutoring, and assist with various needs that may arise. Mentors periodically check in with mentees to ensure that everything is going well in class. M&MS also host various social events and community service activities.
