Continuing Education Workshops

for Social Work Professionals

The WVU School of Social Work is dedicated to providing high quality continuing education workshops for social workers, human service professionals, and students throughout the state of West Virginia.

Category I Community Education (CE) credits

Most of our seminars are approved for 1.0-2.0 Category I Community Education (CE) credits for all social workers licensed in West Virginia. Please note that Category I CE credit is only approved for synchronous attendance and participants must be logged on for the majority of the seminar.

Category II (Self-Study) Community Education (CE) credits

We do post video recordings for most of the Lunch and Learns to YouTube and list them on our Workshop Archive page. These can be watched for Category II (Self-Study) credits. Learn more on the West Virginia Board of Social Work website.
