Fanica Payne, MSW, LICSW

ONLINE INSTRUCTOR, MSW PROGRAM

Fanica Payne is an Online Teaching Instructor for the WVU MSW Online Program and is currently a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of West Virginia. She is a graduate of the WVU School of Social Work, MSW Program and received a B.S. in Health Science, Health Promotion and Wellness from West Virginia State University. Prior to joining the WVU School of Social Work Faculty, Fanica worked in a variety of clinical social work practice settings with close to 10 years of practice experience. Some of her practice experiences include case management, inpatient and outpatient services, community mental and behavioral health, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), adult partial hospitalization programming, Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT), substance use disorder and co-occurring treatment, college counseling and crisis intervention. Fanica also serves on the United States Commission on Civil Rights as a West Virginia State Advisory Committee member.
