Curriculum Committee

Members: Megan Gandy, Co-chair; Mary Christensen, Co-Chair; Tina Faber; Lindsey Rinehart; Mandy Weirich

Purpose: To ensure curricular excellence and compliance with CSWE, School of Social Work, and WVU curricular standards.

Objectives:

  1. Ensure curricular compliance with CSWE standards.
  2. Review and approve proposed courses (including electives) and curricula programs relative to curricular compliance and congruence with academic mission and goals.
  3. Collaborate with the Assessment Coordinator on incorporating assessment measures across the curriculum.
  4. Ensure curricular integrity across face-to-face and online program options.
  5. Address additional curricular matters as they emerge.
