Curriculum Committee

Members: Mary Christensen, Co-Chair; Megan Gandy, Co-chair; Challice LaRose; Lindsey Rinehart; Mandy Weirich

Purpose: To ensure curricular excellence and compliance with CSWE, School of Social Work, and WVU curricular standards.

Objectives:

  1. Oversee MSW course shell conversion to align with the CSWE 2022 EPAS.
  2. Oversee BSW syllabi revision and course shell conversion to align with the CSWE 2022 EPAS.
  3. Collaborate with the Assessment Coordinator on incorporating 2022 EPAS assessment measures across the curriculum
  4. Review and approve proposed courses and program changes relative to accreditation compliance, College and University policies, and alignment with academic mission and goals.
  5. Ensure curricular integrity across campus-based and online program options.
  6. Address additional curricular matters as they emerge.
