Bekah holds a BSW, MSW, and MPA from West Virginia University and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Social Work at Tulane University. As a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW), she brings extensive experience in working with youth and families, community initiatives, program development, grant writing, and training design. Bekah is deeply committed to driving organizational and systemic change through education and community-centered approaches. Outside of her professional work, Bekah actively volunteers with several organizations in her community, including 4-H.
In her role as an academic advisor and instructor for undergraduate social work students, Bekah is dedicated to helping students cultivate their skills, discover their passions, and achieve their academic and professional goals. She fosters a supportive and inclusive environment where students can build meaningful connections to the content, their peers, and their communities. Her teaching and advising philosophy emphasizes student-centered strategies, experiential learning, active engagement, and holistic development within and beyond the classroom.
