Our work spans rural and community-based initiatives, child welfare, and the intersection of community services with institutions such as the criminal justice system and law enforcement.
Faculty collaborate with underserved and diverse populations, faith communities, and military and veteran groups to address pressing social challenges. Research also explores the use of technology and virtual reality in social work education, as well as innovative strategies for enhancing community development and organization. Through policy and practice innovations, these efforts aim to create lasting, positive change.
