Jamie Mesar, MSW
Jamie Mesar is currently the Online Field Coordinator and Clinical Instructor for the MSW Online Program. Jamie received her MSW and BSW from the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work. Jamie has spent the majority of her Social Work career working in multiple areas of Child Welfare. She has been a Child and Adolescent Forensic Interviewer at a county run Child Advocacy Center, UPMC- Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Child Advocacy Center and also for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Jamie was also a Program Manager at UPMC CHP CAC for several years and has experience in management, program development and grant writing. Jamie has also been certified as an Expert Witness in multiple county and also the federal court system.
Jamie has been involved in the continual education of Social Workers over the past fifteen years. Jamie has been a Field Instructor for Social Work students from multiple Universities (including WVU). Jamie has also been an Instructor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work and Penn West University (formerly known at California University of Pennsylvania) School of Social Work.
Jamie has presented at the National Child Advocacy Symposium and the Pittsburgh Conference on Child Maltreatment.
