Faculty Evaluation Committee

Members: Carrie Rishel, Co-Chair; Jiyoung Tabone, Co-Chair; Megan Gandy; Rhonda Hayes; Andrew Irish; Lindsey Rinehart

*Members elected by faculty; Committee chair selected by FEC members.

Purpose: To provide review of faculty performance for ensuring high quality teaching, research, and service in the School of Social Work.

Objectives:

  1. Serve as the evaluating body for annual, pre-promotion, tenure, and promotion evaluations in accordance with SSW, Eberly, and WVU faculty evaluation guidelines.
  2. Make recommendations based on sound documentation as referenced to material in the Faculty Evaluation File.
  3. Ensure timely completion of all reviews.
  4. Ensure review processes are fair and confidential.
  5. Collaborate with the School of Social Work Director in proposing revisions to the School’s annual review, tenure, and promotion guidelines.
